How long is the “afterburn” of a work-out?
I’ve read that resistance training boosts the metabolism for 24 hours…how about high intensity aerobic intervals?
I thought the afterburn of any workout was only 2-4 hours. I’ve never heard that resistance training is a 24 hour metabolism boost. I would say that a high intensity aerobic interval workout is a 2-4 hour afterburn.
