Body toning and burning fat advice?

I’m 16-years-old, 5’8″, and I weight roughly 128 at the moment. When I look at my body it disgusts me; I have a lot of cellulite on my legs even though they’re slim, chubby arms, and I have a little pot belly that I’ve had all of my life that has never bothered me until recently. I don’t want to be embarrassed to wear a bathing suit in the summer or be embarassed to wear shorts/skirts/dresses anymore. Monday of this week, I started running down my dirt road and back (that’s a mile and a half) every evening to train for next years cross country team at school, and using my brothers multi-workout machine (bench press, leg lifts, butterflies, etc.) but I get discouraged quickly even though I know toning takes a lot of time. I try to eat healthy, too. I can’t join a gym because it’s too far away (I live in the middle of nowhere in NM). What are some things I can do that will help besides healthy eating (which im working on)? I want to set realistic goals for myself so I won’t risk injury

BEFORE I became pregnant I use to go to 24hr fitness and took one of those fitness advisers thing. You can use whatever you have at home simply like a water bottle since dumbbells are so expensive. lift up and down slowly when you’re doing it fast all you are doing is making muscles but you’re not burning the fat. same as your legs do scrunches and push ups and squats and you should also be running 30 min at minimum you can run more if you’d like but be sure to have more energy to work out for the rest of the day.

YOU SHOULD ALSO BE EATING SMALL PORTIONS AND EAT FOUR TIMES A DAY. WHEN YOU EAT THREE TIMES A DAY YOU TEND TO EAT BIG PORTIONS. EAT 4 OR 5 TIMES A DAY WITH LITTLE SNACKS TO SATISFY YOU. BREAKFAST IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE TO GIVE YOU ENERGY THROUGHOUT THE DAY. GOOD LUCK!
