how can I get rid of belly fat?

It seems that I have a beer gut, not really, but just a small amount of fat overtop of my abdominals. I just need some tips to help shave off the fat. Thanks!

First, to loose 1 pound of fat you to reduce your calorie intake by 3500. That’s 500 calories a day, 3500 in a week. Start cutting down on high sugar foods(sweets, candy, ice cream, pop),refined grains(white bread, white rice) and yes alcohol. Notice I said cut down, not cut out. Slowly cut them out.

Second, focus on doing cardio. Running, walking, biking, swimming. Any of these will be fine, just get your heart pumping. You can do a thousand sit-ups, but if you don’t do cardio you won’t see that 6-pack, it will be hidden behind that layer of flab.

Third, do planks and side planks. Don’t do sit-ups, they are bad for your back and neck. Planks are fantastic cause they engage the deep core muscles (transversus abdominis) and they help with stabilization.

I know it may seem grueling, but make small choices. Doing something is better than nothing.
