cellulite definition

healthy diet.. consisting of protein shakes???

Ok Im 5″6 and weigh 8 stone 7 pounds, my BMI is good..

“Your BMI is 19.21

If your BMI is between 18.5 and 24.9 you’re an ideal weight for your height. To maintain this, make sure you eat a healthy, well-balanced diet and keep active with regular exercise. This will lower your chances of developing heart disease, diabetes and other health problems. ”

However I seriously need to tone up, i dont care about how much i weigh but i do want to be toned with muscle definition (not overly muscly though!) and i definatly need to lose weight on the old thighs (you know cellulite.. the vain of many womens existants!!) and i was wondering.. if i drank a protein shake in the morning, would this help increase my metabolism and help me tone?

im doing at home exercises like press ups, crunches, all that jazz and its sort of working.. but will protein drinks aid me in reaching my goal?

(any tips of toning the upper arms too would be appreciated)

protein shakes will not speed up your metabolism, they are a meal replacement (or as well as meals to increase weight).

BMI only trlls you the relationship between weight and height, it doesn’t tell you about your health, fitness or muscle tone. So i would not rely heavily on your bmi score. (i know two professional sportsmen whose bmi is 26!)

To tone your upper arms use weights (or tins of beans etc if you don’t have weights), look on the internet for arms exercises and do them. press ups will be good for toning your arms-keep thm up. Have you thought of doing some running – you need to burn the body fat, and doing long cadrio sessions will do this!

good luck
