remove belly fat
How do I remove unwanted fat in my belly?
Err… it’s embarrassing…
I find my belly fat (hmn just a little but not too much), and I get irritated about it. What should I do?
The worst thing here is that I am physically thin and I am underweight according to my Physician. I was underweight since High school. Back then, I don’t have that fat. When I entered college, I gained some weight. After sometime, I lost weight again. But still, my belly has these weird fat.
You need to do lots of work with your WAIST.
The idea that fat cannot be removed ‘locally’ (spot-reduction) IS A MYTH. If you move your waist around a lot, the movement will burn fat as fuel, and the process of storing fat will be reduced nearby. Fat will be released from the stores around your belly if it is constantly moving.
VIGOROUS movement won’t help. If you hit the situps and crunches hard, you’ll use sugar as a fuel, and tire very quickly. Constant, GENTLE movement will use up more fuel in the long run, because you won’t have to keep stopping for ‘recovery time’, and it won’t increase your appetite.
Your WAIST is a very mobile joint (although most people lose a lot of its ability very early in adult life). Its natural movements include bending in all directions, twisting from side to side, and sliding (dancers call this movement ‘isolation’). These movements combine to produce a lot of different effects, such as the ‘hip-rolling’ that happens when you ‘walk like a pimp’ or do Latin dances.
Activities that use a lot of waist movement include Salsa, Rock’n'roll, and Bellydancing, as well as martial arts like Capoeira, Kickboxing and Kalaripayit.
All the time your waist is stationary, it is able to store more fat. All the time it is moving, it will release more fat than it stores. Wiggle your middle, and you’ll (eventually) make it lissom.
OK, we won’t waste your time any longer…
