Workout and Weight Training Help…?
Hello all:
I am about to start hitting the gym again. I still remember the workouts I used to do in High School Weight Training Class:
Mondays – Back and Biceps
Tuesdays – Chest and Triceps
Wednesday – Legs and Abdominals
Thursdays – Back and Biceps
Fridays – Chest and Triceps
I remember doing 4 sets of 10 of everything I would do. The problem was, I would start doing a bunch of random exercises. Now I learn that I should have done back exercises before bicep and chest before triceps. Is there any truth to this new information I have received?
Also, can anyone recommend any good exercises to build arm strength and lose belly fat quickly? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance. Have a wonderful day.
This is very important, most of the time it is best to start with your compound exercises then move to isolations.
Seems great except for a few things. I’d add shoulders to your chest and triceps day. You should add another workout day for your Legs if you wanna shed some belly fat. Also you don’t need for sets, studies show after the 3rd set you don’t get much gain. Finally you should add some heavier sets, if your going purely for building muscle I wouldn’t go below 6 reps.
As for arm strength, it’s the simple ones, bench press, bent over rows, etc. Also add some isolations like curls and skull crushers.
Good luck
